Vivah (Marriage) Puja

Sacred rites for a new life together

Overview

Hindu Vivah is a sequence of sacred rites that formally unites two individuals and families. We personally coordinate with your family to understand your regional traditions and match you with a priest experienced in that specific style of ceremony.

Religious Importance

Marriage is considered one of the sixteen sanskaras (sacraments) in Hindu tradition, and the rituals — from Kanyadaan to Saptapadi — carry deep symbolic meaning about partnership, duty and shared life.

Who Should Perform This Ritual

Conducted for the couple, with active participation from both families throughout the ceremony.

Benefits

  • Ensures rituals are performed with authenticity and correct sequence
  • Priest experienced in your specific regional tradition
  • A meaningful, unhurried ceremony rather than a rushed formality
  • Guidance provided for both families on their respective roles

When Should It Be Performed

Timed to a wedding muhurat selected according to both partners' charts and family preferences, ideally finalised a few months in advance.
